What is the PossePlus Retreat (PPR)?
PPR is an interactive and challenging dialogue designed to tackle important national and campus issues. It is our annual program-wide retreat for all scholars, and we each invite one guest from the campus community for an evening of meaningful conversation.
During PPR, a cross-section of the UW-Madison campus comes together with our national Posse team to talk about a specific topic on a national, campus, and personal level. It is a safe space among campus and community members who may not ordinarily interact with one another. Because of this, PPRs have become an important forum to engage in social, cultural, and political issues.
What is this year's topic?
“Calling On Community” was chosen by Posse scholars nationwide as the desired topic for conversation.
Who can a PLUS be?
Be mindful of who you are inviting to as your plus. Plusses must be affiliated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Examples of UW Student Plusses: Leaders of student orgs, other students who live on your floor, classmates, TAs; can be undergraduate or graduate students.
Examples of UW Staff/Faculty Plusses: Professors, Advisors, Program Directors, Coordinators, Administrative Staff.
